 Бернштейн Николай Александрович - Член-корреспондент Академии медицинских наук СССР. За монографию «О построении движений» удостоен Государственной премии СССР (1948).

The Corresponding member of Academy of medical sciences of the USSR. For the monography «About construction of movements» it is awarded the State award of the USSR (1948).

 Работа над предлагаемой книгой была начата еще в 1939 г. и уже в 1940 г. в журнале „Теория и практика физической культуры" были опубликованы подробные тезисы ее первых частей.
Великая отечественная война прервала подготовку этой книги к печати.
В последний год войны автор заново написал весь текст, подвергнув его коренной переработке, значительно уточнив и пополнив новыми материалами.
Извлечение из центральной части книги (теории уровней построения движений) в сокращенном виде вышло в свет в 1945 г. в сборнике „Движение и деятельность„.
Параллельно с этим автор включил популяризированное изложение основ теории координации движений в „Учебник физиологии для вузов по физической культуре„ под ред. проф. М. Маршака

Work on the offered book has been begun in 1939 and in 1940 in magazine „The Theory and physical training practice„ have been published detailed theses of its first parts. The Great Patriotic War has interrupted preparation of this book for printing. Last year wars the author has anew written all text, having subjected to its radical processing, considerably having specified and having filled up with new materials. Extraction from the central part of the book (the theory of levels of construction of movements) in a short form was published in 1945 in the collection „Movement and activity„. In parallel with it the author has included the popularised statement of bases of the theory of coordination of movements in „the Textbook of physiology for high schools on physical training„ under the editorship of the prof. M.Marshak (1946).
