About the Author: Agatha Christie was born Agatha Marie Clarissa Miller in 1890 and she died in 1976. She is the best-known mystery writer of all time. She has sold over one billion copies of her books in English, and another one billion copies in 44 foreign languages. She has received every honor bestowed on mystery writers. In 1971, she was awarded the high honor of becoming a Dame of the British Empire. Between 1928 and 2000, 62 of her whodunits were made into movies.

About the Performer:Rosemary Leach has been a familiar face on British television for many years, including playing a lead role in the British sitcom, No, That's Me Over Here. Her film credits include That'll Be The Day, SOS Titanic, The Hawk, and Room With a View .
