But could you reduce the long, long, long names of the files you upload in something shorter?

It's a .pdf file! The full name & the file extention are simply truncated.
Personally I renamed the file with something shorter (like: C# in Financial Markets) adding the file extention ".pdf" (without the quots of course!)
You double click it "et voila" the Acro reader starts & you start reading or printing.
