Utilizing secret original prints and first generation photographs (from glass-plate negatives showing screw head detail), the Panzer Tracts team has created new drawings of the rarest of Germany's self-propelled artillery projects. Brand new scale prints illustrate the turreted Pz.Sfl.IV b, the lumbering 10.5 cm le.F.H.18/3 auf G.WB2, the gigantic 17 cm Grille, and the sleek 10.5 cm le.F.H .18/40/1 auf 3t Zgkw proj ects. For the first time in English there is extensive coverage of the make-shift self-propelled mounts on captured tank chassis. New data has also been found on the standard self-propelled mounts utilizing Pz.Kpfw I, Il, 38, and IlII/IV chassis. In accordance with our high standards, the text and data are based solely on primary sources. Over 55 rare photos and 29 scale drawings are used to illustrate the 19 different self-propelled artillery pieces in this book.
