Blackest Night: Batman #1-3 (Of 3) Complete

The second of the Blackest Night event tie-ins to be completed (sorry I missed this one last week). Writer Peter Tomasi tells the story of the effects the Black Lanterns have on Gotham with a cameo from Deadman, and in the process further develops the complex relationship between the Dick Grayson and Damien Wayne, the new Batman and Robin, and the event storyline itself. And artist Ardian Saef, with help from inkers John Dell and Vicente Cifuentes and colorist Nei Ruffino, brings a suitably dark, horrific look to the book, making the story feel very much like a terrifying nightmare.
