Description

OK, hello everyone, this is my first post and I hope I don't mess things out. Also I don't "talk" a lot so to the point.
Before I forget, hope that the original poster don't mind that I repost this as the other link is dead...
Please, more math!! more math!!

Many thanks!  I thought we'd lost this one.

Many thanks cmdreamer for this book and for your first post.

Please allow me to make some suggestions which may help you in future:

1) For those of us who already have a copy of this book, unless you tell us the edition and/or year of publication of your upload, we can't know whether we might be downloading a version we already have.

In this case, it's the 2nd Edition, published in 2000. That's ok, calculus books don't date as fast as others, e.g., those on web design. The current edition is the 3rd (2004).

2) If the author has his/her own web site (which is often the case), there may be links to more good stuff such as manuals, solutions to examples in the book, etc.

http://www.stewartcalculus.com/media/3_home.php
Some handy extra PDFs here.

3) The e-book format (PDF, djvu, etc.). In this case, PDF.

4) The size of the download in your post (without having to go to the download page) helps those of us with slow connections to plan our downloads.
In this case, 15.9 Mb.

5) Reader reviews help those of us who already have similar books to decide whether we need another one and how good it is. A good technique is to Google for Amazon's link, which will also contain other publication details. You can also copy and paste part or all of Amazon's summary of the book into your post to give us more info, particularly if you prefer not to "talk" a lot. :)

Here, the Amazon link to the *second* edition (yours) is http://www.amazon.com/Calculus-Concepts-Contexts-James-Stewart/dp/0534377181. Surprisingly, some readers thought it was an awful book and the overall score was only 2 and a half stars out of 5, but I like it a lot more than that. The link to the *third* edition is http://www.amazon.com/Calculus-Concepts-Contexts-James-Stewart/dp/0534410030.

6) We can avoid wasting time copying and pasting your link to ftp2share if you make it a clickable link in the first place (unfortunately, I can't create clickable links in this reply). Take a look at previous book posts to help you in this.

Keep up the good work!

"Please, more math!! more math!!" Can you be a little more specific - what types of math and what level? We will see what we can find to upload for you.

    Good work cmdreamer!!!!

I second maxand's sugestions on making a better publication post.  To create an active link is quite simple to do using the following format: left bracket ([) url=http:// (your link address)right bracket (]) Name of link i.e. Download; and size of file, then left bracket again ([)/url right bracket (]). To center your link on the page use the word 'center' in brackets before the link, and don't forget to close with '/center' in brackets at the end.

regards,

I forgot to mention that you ought to include the ISBN number, even if you don't give any other details; this will help us track down the book. The ISBN number varies from edition to edition, too.

# Publisher: Brooks/Cole Publishing Company; 2nd Bk&Cdr edition (December 13, 2000)
# Language: English
# ISBN: 0534377181

Thanks a lot for sharing it, I was reading some random pages and I have to say that looks excellent; diagrams, explanations, overall it looks very very nice!!!!

OK, I must say thank you to you all, it feels great!! ?_? being cheered like that, I'll try to post some more, as much as I can, mostly math...
Here I go with my "war calling": Please, more math!! more math!!
Be my guests...

    OKAY cmdreamer

there is no problem, my link was deleted and tried to upload again it was deleted. so i dropped the idea of uploading it to RS.com. Keep uploading :-)
