Calvin & Hobbes est une BD américaine, de Bill Watterson, se présentant sous la forme de comic strips, c'est à dire en des lignes de 1 à 5 images (la plupart du temps 3 ou 4) constituant chacune un gag, puisque destinée à être publiée dans des journaux comme le Daily, le Sunday Express, le Sunday Tribune,le Washington Post... Le premier strip est paru en 1985, et le dernier en 1995, donc malheureusement, il n'y aura plus de nouvel album... car le dessinateur a pris sa retraite. La BD raconte la vie quotidienne et mouvementée d'un garçon de 6 ans, Calvin, accompagné de son tigre Hobbes. L'auteur a le génie de savoir décliner certains sujets de gag sans jamais se répéter, ni devenir rébarbatif. Ainsi, il aborde des occupations des enfants comme l'école, les devoirs, les descentes en wagonnet et en luge, Noël, ... Malgré le fait que Calvin ait 6 ans, Calvin & Hobbes n'est pas une BD seulement pour les enfants !!

1) Thank you very much. I'm a fan of Calvin and Hobbes. I have the entire series. I know French quite well. I'm happy to be able to read them in French. I hope one has and upload them in German too.
