Фотокнига талантливого британского репортера раскрывает перед читателем картину конфликтов ХХ века. Содержит много интереснейших фото периода 1900-1992 годов. Статьи идут дополнением и построены на хронологическом принципе отслеживания события. На мой взгляд - достаточно объективны (вместо автора часто говорит фотокамера), хотя общие тенденции европоцентричны. Дополнительный плюс - наличие хронологии событий по годам (а внутри по месяцам и числам). Обзор широк и каждый читатель может найти для себя много нового.

The conflicts illustrated in this album, it first of all two world wars, and also wars between the separate countries, civil wars and revolutions. More than 40 reviews analyze conflicts which rendered the greatest influence on a history of mankind. The book represents Russian translation of the edition « Chronicle of Conflict in the Twentieth Century » by Reed Consumer Books Limited, London, 1993.

The photobook of the talented British reporter opens a picture of conflicts of XX century before the reader. Contains many the most interesting photos of the period of 1900-1992. Articles go addition and are constructed on a chronological principle of tracking of event. In my opinion - are objective enough (instead of the author frequently the camera).
Additional plus - presence of chronology of events on years (and inside on months and numbers). The review is wide also each reader can find for itself a lot of new.
