does anyone know what happened with those releases? no one seems to have issues before August 2005... I've seen this post for years, but no new issues.
someone please enlighten me.
someone please enlighten me.
and by 'before' I mean 'after' :) LOL...
I think one of the problems is that these are oversized magazines and cannot be scanned on a regular size scanner. Large bed scanners are quite expensive and limit who can get them copied.
AMXBob,
fantastic job posting these issues as well as 2dartist and PSTV. Incredible man!
Thank you very much for this sources!

No, AMXBob, these magazines were directly from the publishers hence all the text and logos are in vector. If you edit them with the right software you can delete text move graphics etc like a photoshop file lol.
Its true that no new issues were released on the warez world past aug 2005 and I wonder why. Maybe the publishers encrypted the pdfs with a password or added secure invisible watermarking with the readers info (hence stopping the would-be sharer to not share in fear of having his info known) or maybe the publishers just stopped releasing these mags in digital form.

Well, actually they stopped selling it on digital format. My guess is because they realized that people were getting it for free warezed... But if you buy the printed version of it you may find that each month they give you for free the digital copy of the whole magazine on splitted files wich is not bad, in a couple of years you can catch up if you are really into this magazine.
On the other hand, digit magazine (who changed its name) still sells and delivers digitally and you can extract the pdfs from them and use them as you like to. But no one seems to be buying it or distributing at the scene, wich is sad.
But ultimately is a shame that CA stopped delivering digital because it rocks and beats the crap out of any other design magazine.
