About Authors:

 

Larry L. Peterson is Professor of Computer Science at Princeton University and has previously taught at the University of Arizona. He has been involved in the design and evaluation of several network protocols, and currently directs the PlanetLab project. He has served as the Editor-in-Chief of ACM Transactions on Computer Systems, and on the program committees for SOSP, SIGCOMM, OSDI, and ASPLOS. He is anACM Fellow and a member of the Internet’s End-to-End Research Group.

 

Bruce S. Davie is a Cisco Fellow at Cisco Systems, Inc., where he is involved in the development of MPLS and quality of service technologies. He is an author of numerous ournal articles, conference papers, and RFCs, and co-author of two additional books or MKP. He is an active participant in both the Internet Engineering Task Force and he End-to-End Research Group, as well as a senior member of the IEEE
