F-4 Phantom II. Part 1

Much has been written about McDonnell's "Phabulous Phatom," and one might think that there would be very little demand for another book on the F-4. But Detail & Scale has received more than twice as many requests for a book on the Phantom than for any other aircraft. In order to answer these requests, and to provide extensive coverage of the many versions of the F-4, this book is the first of three volumes that will be developed by Detail & Scale on the Phantom.
Two volumes will be dedicated to U.S. Air Force Phantoms. This book is the first of these two volumes, and covers the F-4C, F-4D, and RF-4C. A later volume will cover the F-4E and F-4G "Wild Weasel" versions as used by the U.S. Air Force. The third volume will cover the versions of the Phantom used by the U:S. Navy and Marine Corps.
