Herman Buchman, throughout a long career on Broadway and in Hollywood, has been a master of makeup. He created the makeup for such films as Twelve Angry Men, Caoursel, The Miracle Worker, A Long Day´s Journey into Night, The Joe Louis Story, and Panic in Needle Park, to name a few. He has worked for both the ABC and CBS networks and on numerous commecrcial and idustrial shoots. For many years Mr. Buchman taught at the Juilliard School´s drama division and music opera department; the American Academy of Dramatic Arts; the Neighborhood Playhouse; and the American Theater Wing. He has been an artist in residence at C.C.N.Y. and a consultant to the New York State Department of Education.
