Creationism is not science, and never will be. It is religion only. Trying to pass it off as a "valid alternative" is only muddying the waters of real science. Evolution isn't a "school of thought". Its a reality and the entire basis of modern biology. Science and religion are as two different ways of thinking as there can be. Creationism seeks to pervert science to validate the religious belief it is solely based on.

The fanatics on both sides are mistake. The fact is that God (you know who I mean) is an efficient being. When he wanted to create a new being composed of two totally unconnected properties - spirit and matter, he chose an already existing life form (matter) and infused his spirit in it. Viola! The first human, whom we call Adam. The human body evolved from the lower forms, but his spirit is a direct gift from God.

There are older / more evolved species on earth, but they are no closer acquiring a spirit, than when they evolved from the primeval soup. It all depends on that inscrutable Supreme Being we call God

Given that I have personal proof that is BS, why shouldn't I conclude the rest of the book is similarly flawed.
