Germany and the Americas: Culture, Politics, and History (Transatlantic Relations)

Description

As an American of German descent, I object to this set of books. Reason being is that there are material omissions and material misrepresentations in the books. With regard to the material omissions, the books do not discuss or identify that two U.S. Presidents are of German extraction, thse two presidents being Herbert Hoover and Dwight D. Eisenhower. With regard to the material misrepresentation, the books strongly imply the founder of McDonalds, Ray Kroc, is of German descent. Ray Kroc is not of German descent. As a result of these fact distortions, I find the books a questionable source for historical fact.
