Hercules: The Knives of Kush is a five-part miniseries from Radical Publishing that's a completely new take on the demigod of Greek mythology. Following the events that occurred in "Hercules: The Thracian Wars", the first miniseries from Radical, Hercules and his band of Greek mercenaries are traveling across the Mediterranean sea, bound for the port of Piramesse in the Nile delta, with hopes of then moving on to Memphis to seek work as mercenaries. Instead, events made them doing such work in Egypt, for the Pharoah Seti the Second. Writer Steve Moore manages a really interesting mixing and juxtaposition of both Greek and Egyptian cultures and mythology. His interpretation of the Hercules myth in combo with Egyptian history work to great effect, especially helped by the spectacular paint-like artwork.
