Description: This Course Manual is intended to be used in conjunction with on-site or on-line Licensure Examination Preparatory Course for Physical Therapists of International Educational Resources Ltd. The Syllabus portion is a condensed summary of certain content areas and basic definitions that may be germane to the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE). The National Physical Therapy Examination Review & Study Guide by O'Sullivan & Siegelman is also part of the course material and provides a more extensive review of information. We also urge you to consult with your own notes and other targeted texts mentioned in the Bibliography some values in the Syllabus, Review & Study Guide or other sources differ slightly. The Study Hints are a very important element of the Course Manual. They help you to narrow the focus of exam preparation and to properly expend your time and energy in the most efficient way. Please use this information to construct a blueprint for your individual preparation. The Practice Exam in the Course Manual will again test your abilities to coalesce academic knowledge with clinical judgement for the purpose of self-diagnosis. By design, answers ae provided, but no rationales. We want you to search the literature we provide or go to other sources to help deal with deficiencies. Select the best answer of four possible choices. Only 200 of the questions will count. The other 25 are being tested for validity. You will not know which questions count!
