The purpose of this book is to describe and illustrate a number of ju-jitsu movements which can be readily learned and easily practised, and which are to be likely of most service to the readers. The number given is sufficient to provide a very complete armour of defence against the ordinary dangers of attack.

This is quite an old book, you don't get the loads of picture we have in contemporary martial arts books, but it is surely worth reading, at least to see someone practicing in some old fancy dress.
