One of the best textbooks I ever used learning japanese (and I used a lot ) Starting from ZERO learning japanese - this definitly the best !!. All Text is in romanji ( there are no hiragana or katakana or kanji used ) and the textbook uses real life language & scenes. Its the companionbook to the TV Course - Lets learn japanese from 1986. And yes, thats long time ago but its still one of the best for starters to japanese language - and its still used in Languageschools in 2007. Its a pity the books are very rare find & out of print
