The papers deal with the state of the art as well as emerging concepts and innovative applications related to all main aspects of life-cycle civil engineering.Major topics covered include: life-cycle damage processes, life-cycle assessment and design, life-cycle monitoring, maintenance and rehabilitation, life-cycle performance of special structures, life-cycle cost of structures and infrastructures, and life-cycle oriented computational tools. This volume is aimed to significantly contribute to promote recent advances in the field of life-cycle civil engineering.
