Mark Galer lectures in photography at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia - the leading photography course in the southern hemisphere. He has lectured in photography both in the UK and Australia and has worked commercially as a freelance photographer on corporate and editorial. He is also author of 'Photography Foundations for Art and Design', and co-author of 'Digital Imaging: Essential Skills' and 'Photographic Lighting: Essential Skills' also published by Focal Press.
