It is the intention of this site to provide the reader of Dr. Cohen's book "Numerical Methods for Laplace Transform Inversion" with a variety of programs to evaluate the inverse Laplace transform. As a general rule the programs require the use of double/quadruple precision arithmetic. The NAG library routines require double precision arithmetic and because the extrapolation methods used involve a lot of cancellation it is preferable to work with multi-precision arithmetic.
