Toute petite, Marjane voulait être prophète. Elle se disait qu'elle pourrait ainsi soigner le mal de genoux de sa grand-mère. En 1979, l'année de ses dix ans et de la révolution iranienne, elle a un peu oublié Dieu. Elle s'est mise à manifester dans le jardin de ses parents en criant "à bas le roi !". Là, elle s'imaginait plutôt en Che Guevara. Il faut dire qu'à l'époque, son livre préféré s'appelait Le Matérialisme dialectique. Marjane trouvait d'ailleurs que Marx et Dieu se ressemblaient. Marx était juste un peu plus frisé, voilà tout...
Le livre de Satrapi est esthétiquement abouti, le ton est juste, jamais avec l'iran des ayotollahs ou contre, parfois même critique à l'éagrd de l'occident. Dés que je l'ai eu, je ne l'ai pas lâché avant de l'avoir temriné. On passe un moment amusant et intelligent, allez-y. This book tells the story of Marjane Satrapi whenshe was nine and islamic revolution happened in Iran. It's very esthetically accomplished, amusing, profound and never anti or pro ayatollahs and even sometimes criticizing the West. Once I had it in my hands, I could'nt drop it, unless totally finished. Wants an intelligent and entertaining comic, read this one.
