Level 1 (Lessons 1-30)


In the Pimsleur English for French Speakers Comprehensive Level 1 course, you will learn to form grammatically correct sentences pertaining to the most common life, business and travel situations including greeting others, days of the week, asking for directions, eating & drinking, going to a restaurant, making plans, telling time, negotiating purchases and dealing with money, numbers and counting, talking about your family and asking others about their families, socializing with colleagues and friends, asking someone out on a date, and general work and business discussions. You will learn to express yourself mainly in the present tense and you will be introduced to the past tense toward the end.
