The above 2 sentences in the news promote are clear enough. Archiver software of course refer to file archivers like WinZip, WinRar and any such programs that stores files or a series of files into an archive, generally using conpression algorithms to shrink the file size while preserving file integrity, for easy storage and transport.

Your pedantic and rather condescending comment merely restates what I have said in the news promote above. And my point in posting this file or any such files generally packaged in the portable document format (PDF), repackaged into either CBR or CBZ, is really to enable greater ease of view, and if so desired, extraction of the files from the container. Precisely because the comic book formats CBR and CBZ are themselves archives--you simply rename the file extension. As a matter of fact, PDF was created for a similar purpose, namely, document exchange. And as so named, PDF is a format, not an editor. When the contents consist solely of image files, the disadvantage of PDF's is that the software used to read them, e.g., acrobat reader, et al., oftentimes have no built-in image filters like, say, CDisplay to adequately resize the page/image view without a corresponding loss in image quality. And I won't even talk about memory footprint.

You say there's no need for the word "FIXED" "for such kind of small work." With all due respect, I say there is. I am the poster, and for this specific calendar, those I've seen submitted thus far have pages with split images of the last four months of 2008 and of the models' gallery. I placed FIXED not for braggadocio but simply to inform those who may be interested that such split images are, indeed, gone. Fixed.

I have no wish to engage in a protracted and really useless discussion as regards file formats, or how an Avaxhome member should compose and frame his post and its title, unless you, sir, are a moderator in which case I respectfully submit and extend my apologies for my cheekiness. As far as I know, my post is not a duplicate, since: (1) it is presented in a different format; and (2) the subject file itself has undergone a wee bit of creative input, and changed for the better.

My thanks for the heads-up regarding the proper category for calendars. I have now amended my post accordingly to reflect such. However, since this particular kind of calendar is not a standalone calendar per se but is actually an extension, and virtually a special edition of Playboy Magazine; and since the models depicted therein are nude, the primary category therefor, I believe, would still be "For Men", under "Magazines."
