There is so much ignorance used as humour & yet, it's also taken too seriously. Sure these stereotypes need to be smashed, but whats going on is an undercurrent of poor self worth - on both sides of the fence.

We've got to get beyond the ideology of race per se; of nationalism, of creed, etc. All these attributes are just idenifications with something which is not real. There is no such thing as an American, an African, a Scotsman, an Irishman, etc. Every person is of mixed blood, every person is a result of people who have travelled the Earth, there is simply no racial/national purity. The old tribal identity serves no purpose other than to divide & raise hate & fear.

It's the same with that other trouble maker - religion. Religion is just a belief, a thought process. End the thought, there's no belief - no christianity, islam, judaism, etc. Wake up to what's really going on. When there's no identification with whatever, there's clarity & that means the manifestations of ignorance are seen for what they are - emotional reaction is not necessary.
