Rosetta Stone ERROR 1117 (speech output error code):
Solution: Allow Rosetta Stone access via your firewall.

Rosetta Stone ERROR 2122 SOLUTION (database is too old):
Solution: Find and delete the file tracking.db3. To do this, you've got to allow the view of hidden files.

It should be clear that in patches and cracks are similar programming routines used as in a virus file. I use v3.3.7 for over 6 months and my pc still works to my full satisfaction. Yes also ESET, the virus scanner I use, gives a warning. Others like McAfee don't. That's exactly the reason most patches ask to turn virus scanners off before applying the patch. The JDS patch is for more than 7 months on the "market" and thousands of users work with RS 3.3.7 AND the patch. The only people who tell me it would be a virus are the ones who don't work with it.

Item 2 of the german tutorial says:
"02 Deaktiviere alle Virenscanner"; i.e. in english "deactivate all virus scanners (before installation)" !

There are only two solutions possibilities:
a) You are familiar with warez and install the RS version plus patch;
b) You are not sure what to do. In this case, I recommend either to work with RS v3.3.5 and DO NOT update please or you go to the next computer store and order the software plus desired language.

If you decide for option 2, I would like to ask you to leave this offer alone. I am not willing and I do not have definitely the time for endless discussions. This is a thread, where software / eBooks are offered and I don't want it to become a discussion thread!

There appears to be a problem with the Japanese Level II archive. It has a different password than the one posted above. The other archives in the Japanese series extracted fine.
