Inhalte: Freie, selbsterregte, parametererregte, erzwungene Schwingungen, Koppelschwingungen (sehr schön dargestellt), chaotische Schwingungen. Der Schwerpunkt jedoch wird auf Einmassenschwinger gesetzt. An manchen Stellen könnte das Buch noch ausführlicher sein (z.B. Auswerten von Bewegungsgleichungen von Mehrmassenschwingern in Matrizenform)
