Thanks mrcoggy for posting this delightful pair of books that deserve to be savoured by every aspiring artist (yes even the 3D ones!).

The cover pic as shown is not that of this edition (notice it fails to mention Elements of Perspective). The PDF file contains two books:
(Pages 1-204)The Elements of Drawing, in Three Letters to Beginners (1857)
(Pages 205+) The Elements of Perspective, Arranged for the Use of Schools and Intended to be Read in Connection with the First Three Books of Euclid (1859)

This is a reproduction of the 1912 reprint of the 1907 edition of this work.

John Ruskin (8 February 1819 – 20 January 1900) is best known for his work as an art critic and social critic, but is remembered as an author, poet and artist as well. Ruskin's essays on art and architecture were extremely influential in the Victorian and Edwardian eras.

This book comes to you courtesy of Microsoft, who digitized it. In fact, they keep reminding you of their largesse on just about every bl**dy page - in upper case. Anyone who takes the time and trouble to delete these idiotic defacements from the book will earn the undying gratitude of book lovers everywhere.
