Description

This monograph concerns itself with a little-known World War Two aircraft, more accurately a helicopter by Anton Flettner. Its official designation was FL 282, but in 1942 it was appropriately named the Kolibri, or Hummingbird. The interested reader will find in these pages not only technical data from the aircraft handbook and the data sheet compiled by the E-Stelle Travemunde, but also previously unpubished RLM and OKM documents concerning the developement, testing and production of this helicopter.
