lab- Router on a stick in gns3

Description

You can perform router on stick (inter vlan) using following link

simply run .net file and right click on each device give the path for start up file.

for example right click on R1 and click on start up file and give the path of R1.cfg file.

do same for R2,R3,SW

and now start all device.

R1 in vlan 10 and having ip add 10.1.1.1

R2 in vlan 20 and having ip add 20.1.1.1

u can test ur intervlan by pinging 20.1.1.1 from R1.

Router on a stick, is one of the basic fundamental if you dont have layer 3 switch. make do with layer 2 switch, different vlan and subnet and make use of a router, i too was amused at the term but after knowing what it meant and what it does, i realized this is something that will be applied in companies and SME's.
